What types of private course are there?

Language Trainers offer courses in both General Spanish and Business Spanish and these are available for one-to-one, two-to-one or small private groups, up to 12 in a class. Note that for two-to-one or group classes, it is up to you to arrange the group. You find the people - your friends, family, colleagues - and arrange a location in Boston and Language Trainers will arrange the Spanish teacher and course materials for you.

Courses are usually for 20, 30, 50 or 100 hours with each session usually lasting 2 hours (although 1 hour and 1.5 hour classes are available).

How much do their Spanish courses cost?

It depends on the language. For more common languages like Spanish, German, Italian, French and English (for foreigners), hourly rates start at $50 per hour (that's $100 for a 2 hour session) and this includes the first course book for each participant.

They all have a teaching qualification and/or a university qualification in languages. Where a native speaker is not available, Language Trainers will arrange a non-native teacher who speaks Spanish just as well as a native teacher.

Part of your first class will be a full Initial Assessment to find out exactly what you know and what you don't, exactly what you need and how you like to study. You will set realistic goals for the course and after this first class, the teacher will buy a suitable course book (included in the price). Therefore, the choice of book depends on you - what you already know and what you need to know.
