Reading, I mean \u2013 how quickly can you scan those words?<\/p>\n<p>I think I\u2019m a pretty fast reader \u2013 I finished the final Harry Potter in about 10 hours \u2013 but according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.staples.com\/sbd\/cre\/marketing\/technology-research-centers\/ereaders\/speed-reader\/index.html\">this test<\/a>, I\u2019m ranked just above an \u201caverage college student\u201d! At 512 words per minute, that apparently makes me 105% faster than the American national average. Which I suppose isn\u2019t too shabby!<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not all about how fast you are though \u2013 comprehension matters. So in Spanish I\u2019d probably be well below the national average.
