Then a new dictionary is here to help. (<a href=\"https:\/\/clearskiesmeadery.co\/tramadol-online-prices\/\">clearskiesmeadery.co<\/a>) <\/p>\n<p>Department store Debenham\u2019s has launched an online reference guide to fashion lingo to \u201chelp clear up the confusion\u201d. The guide defines terms such as \u201cmandles\u201d (sandals for men\u201d) and \u201cwhorts\u201d (winter shorts). <\/p>\n<p>As these terms are reasonably simple amalgamations of two common items of clothing (blurt = blouse\/skirt), I can\u2019t help feeling that a spokeswoman for Debenham\u2019s is taking it a bit too far when she says: <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s now easier to understand Sanskrit than some of the words commonly used by commentators within the fashion industry to describe garments.\u201d (Source: <a href=\"http:\/\/news.sky.com\/skynews\/Home\/Business\/Department-Store-Chain-Debenhams-Launches-Fashion-Dictionary-To-Explain-Arcane-Clothing-Terms\/Article\/201009315738305?lpos=Business_Second_Buisness_Feature_Teaser_Region__0&#038;lid=ARTICLE_15738305_Department_Store_Chain_Debenhams_Launches_Fashion_Dictionary_To_Explain_Arcane_Clothing_Terms\">Sky News<\/a>)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Apparently the reason behind the dictionary is:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>..so that every shopper \u2013 both fashion expert and non expert alike \u2013 can shop easily and clearly in all of our stores. However, we are also urging the fashion industry to use existing English words to describe their garments rather than made up amalgamations. We\u2019d love to drop all these amalgamations and at the very least we are committed to keeping their use to a minimum.
