Tokyo, June 26 (ARMENPRESS): Armenian foreign minister Vartan Oskanian and his Azerbaijani counterpart Villayat Quliyev have hailed the efforts of US George Bush and Russia's Putin's to continue working to end the long-running Karabagh conflict, confirmed at their Ljubljana meeting. The ministers were speaking in an exclusive interview to Itar-Tass in Tokyo where the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia are attending a five-day trade exhibition devoted to the South Caucasus. The event is sponsored by JETRO, a Japanese trade organization promoting overseas investments. "We welcome the fact and assess it positively that the presidents of the two superpowers have discussed Karabagh regulation and have agreed to continue cooperating to end it," Oskanian said.
